Committed to zero defects

The most crucial part of our machine shop engineering process is the inspection. Regardless of the part’s purpose, we strive for insurmountable quality to ensure every component we produce is worthy of the Kristek name.

We combine state-of-the-art machinery, innovative techniques, and the expertise of our experienced teams to deliver economy through quality. Following documented quality control procedures in line with BS EN 9001:2008, we strive for continuous improvement and zero defects.

Three stage inspection process

Our full-time inspector conducts quality checks at the ‘1st-off stage’ and during production. A final inspection is then completed and documented, with a Certificate of Conformity issued by default and a First Article Inspection report, if required.

All our cutting-edge measuring equipment is externally calibrated at a UKAS approved calibration house, with results closely monitored online by our experienced and expert team. It is this exacting approach which is replicated throughout our work, helping us to transform complex machine shop engineering projects into high quality, precision components.

We never rest on our laurels, continuously investing in the latest technology to maintain the unparalleled quality of our work. CMM capacity of checking up to 1.5m in size, and 3-off FARO portable co-ordinate measuring machines are evidence of our unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. This approach, supplemented by attentive customer service and ongoing support, ensures our place as one of the UK’s leading CNC machinists.
